Highly integrated GPS/INS
The Global Positioning System (GPS) receives signals from satellites to calculate absolute position and speed. However, the system performance falls dramatically depending on external environmental conditions. On the other hand, the INS (Inertial Navigation System) uses gyroscopes and accelerometers to provide position, speed and attitude information, which is not affected by external factors, however, this solution is not suitable for long term use as the errors accumulate without bound. The Microinfinity GA6370 system combines the GPS and INS strengths and weaknesses in a complementary way, resulting in a highly precise navigation device. The GA6370 can be used in high speed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), aircrafts, automobiles, ships and robot requiring high precision navigation information. The GA6350 is a small and light MEMS navigation system that can be used for applications requiring intermediate precision.

Small and low cost navigation applications can use the GA3390 device, which has a small form factor with good performance. For micro-sized navigation applications, the XA3300 is the most suitable solution.
